@....เนื่องจากลูกอมผงพุทธคุณ หลวงพ่อปาน วัดบางนมโค จ.อยุธยา เป็นลูกอมที่หาพบเห็นได้ยากมากๆ "เนื้อหามวลสารเดียวกับผงด้านในที่อุดพระเนื้อดิน และพระพิมพ์ทรงสัตว์เนื้อผงพุทธคุณ มีคนเคยเห็นเคยสัมผัสตัวจริงเสียงจริงน้อย
@....หลวงพ่อปานท่านได้แจก พระเครื่อง และลูกอมผงพุทธคุณตั้งแต่วันที่ 23 มีนาคม พระพุทธศักราช 2460 เพราะเมื่อตอนที่หลวงพ่อปานท่านแจกพระเนื้อดิน ท่านได้พิมพ์ “ใบฝอย” (คำชี้แจง) วิธีใช้พระของท่านด้วย ในหนังสือสำคัญนี้ลงท้ายว่า ได้แจกตั้งแต่วันที่ 23 มีนาคม พ.ศ.2460 แสดงว่าพระของท่านได้เริ่มสร้างแจกตั้งแต่ประมาณปี พ.ศ.2460
@....ขั้นตอนการสร้างพระของหลวงพ่อปานคือ ทำผงพระพุทธคุณ ท่านทำผง และลบผงด้วยตนเอง ทำเฉพาะในระหว่างวันเข้าพรรษาเท่านั้น ผงที่ทำได้แก่ ผงปถมัง ผงอิทธิเจ ผงตรีนิสิงเห และผงมหาราช ทำโดยปั้นขึ้นเป็นแท่ง เขียนอักขระลงบนกระดานชนวนแล้วลบผงรวบรวมไว้เพื่อ สร้างลูกอม พระเนื้อผงพุทธคุณ และอุดลงบนด้านบนของพระเนื้อดินพิมพ์ทรงสัตว์ต่าง ดังนั้นผมจึงมีความเชื่ออย่างหนึ่งว่า พระไม่ว่าจะพิมพ์อะไร กับลูกอมของท่าน มีสรรพคุณเหมือนกันอย่างเดียวกัน วิธีอาราธนาการใช้อย่างเดียวกัน คือบูชา คุณพระพุทธ คุณพระธรรม คุณพระสงฆ์ ดั่งเช่นที่เคยบูชากันมา
พระพุทธคุณและความนิยม
@....พระเนื้อดินของหลวงพ่อปาน ท่านขึ้นชื่อว่ามีพุทธคุณในทางรักษาโรคภัยไข้เจ็บ กันคุณไสย และอาจอธิษฐานเสี่ยงทายในบางอย่าง เช่น ถ้าเดินทางจะไปดีมาดี มีลาภและมีสุข ขอให้พระเย็นในฝ่ามือ หากไม่ดีมีภัยอันตราย ก็จะร้อนในฝ่ามือ (สรรพคุณนี้หลวงพ่อปานท่านระบุไว้ในใบฝอยวิธีบูชาพระของท่านเอง) คุณปรีชา เอี่ยมธรรม (จ่าเปี๊ยก) นักเล่นพระรุ่นเก่าและนักเขียนเรื่องพระเครื่องที่มีชื่อได้เล่าว่า พระหลวงพ่อปานนั้นขึ้นชื่อในทางรักษาโรคและเป็นที่หวงแหนของคนรุ่นก่อนมาก เมื่อตอนเด็ก ๆ คุณปรีชาชอบขอพระจากคนทั่วไปซึ่งส่วนใหญ่จะให้ ไม่หวงกันนัก แต่มีอยู่รายหนึ่งไม่ยอมให้ คุณปรีชา เอี่ยมธรรม ได้เล่าว่า “....ผมจะขอพระที่เขาห้อยมากันคนละองค์ ส่วนใหญ่เป็นพระท้องถิ่น...ในชีวิตที่ขอพระตอนนั้นมีไม่ให้อยู่คนเดียว จำได้แม่น แกให้เหตุผลว่าถ้าแกให้ผมเอาไป เท่ากับเอาหมอไปจากหมู่บ้านเขาเลย พระองค์นั้นคือพระหลวงพ่อปาน วัดบางนมโค พิมพ์อะไรจำไม่ได้ นั่นเป็นเพราะสมัยนั้นการแพทย์ยังไปไม่ถึง ใครจะเป็นอะไรก็จะเอาพระมาแช่น้ำดื่มแก้โรคนั้นโรคนี้กัน ...”
